Brooklynn's Box Inc. provides medically fragile families with support, resources, care coordination, learning materials, and a free library to learn about medical conditions that affect the family. Brooklynn 's Box strives to donate toys, educational materials and family support to children and their families with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich peoples lives through love, joy and medical awareness
Love My Neighbor
Founded By: Haley Athena
Mission Statement: Establishing a viable and respectable means for homeless individuals to receive the necessities of life as they regain their way back into society.
Love My Neighbor Foundation, is not just another foundation giving away food and clothing. This 501(c)(3) organization was established to allow homeless individuals to keep their pride and dignity as they receive food, clothing, shoes, toiletries, resources and spiritual enlightenment.
Our volunteers are comprised of diverse individuals in the community that realize the plight of the homeless and are mindful of such when giving countless hours to ensure the comfort of the community they are serving.
Realizing challenging aspects of life existed beyond the silver screen, Hayley, turned to providing services for individuals who actually encountered these situations daily, thus, Love My Neighbor Foundation was formed, an organization to help feed & clothe the Skid Row Homeless community every Thursday from 12pm to 2pm. For nearly five years Haley has dedicated much of her time, collecting & distributing food, clothing, shoes & toiletries to countless homeless men, women & children in Los Angeles.
